At Greenest Meetings, we can run a true net-zero meeting or start with some sustainable elements and improve with future events.

We can go beyond a request for proposal that includes reduce, reuse, recycle.

We start with a city that supports sustainability, select a venue that has third-party certification, and then focus on all of the meeting details.

Our programs can include farm-to-table offerings and sustainable seafood and wine.

No detail is too small, from biodegradable name badges and sustainable promotional items to carbon offset purchases. Most of this can be accomplished at the same cost as a conventional meeting.

You decide how green you want your meeting to be.

• Sustainable meeting planning

• Hotel, conference center, convention center sustainability audits (facility and operations)

• Meeting scorecard of best practices based on firsthand audit experience

Leave the rest to us:

Greenest Meetings has added a new offering to our portfolio: viewing sustainability through the lens of your attendee.

By attending your meeting, conference or convention, Greenest Meetings can rate your event against current best practice. This allows you to take credit for the sustainable practices you are currently following and also get a list of incremental improvements.

During breaks and social functions, random interviews will be conducted with your attendees to get feedback “from the floor” on their perception of the event. In addition to rating the meeting venue, a review of the eco-practices of the hotel and accommodations will be conducted.

This approach works well when you have an in-house planning department or an established relationship with a meeting planning company and want to raise the sustainability bar of your function.

Contact Greenest Meetings to see how easy it is to make your next event more sustainable.

Greenest Meetings was invited to participate in the MPI Risk Management Conclave at the Thought Leaders Summit in Orlando, Fl. in November 2017. The MPI Foundation has partnered with NCS4, the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security to formulate Best Practices in Risk Management for Meetings and Events. We are proud to be part of a  group of about 70 seasoned professionals focusing on six key areas of event risk. This multi year project will result in guidelines to create safer and more secure meetings and events. Asset protection begins with our most important asset, our attendees.

Our Founder, Gregory J. Butler has joined the Global Sustainable Tourism Council's newly formed working group focused on Business Travel and Meetings & Events (such as Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Expos). This group will investigate the role GSTC can play in promoting sustainability within MICE and business travel. Read more about our working group in the GSTC newsletter:
