Gregory J. Butler is the founder of Greenest Meetings LLC. 

He is a strategic sustainability leader with “hands-on” experience managing zero carbon footprint meetings. He has been planning corporate meetings since 1998.

 

Greg has Fortune 500 corporate experience in sustainable operations, strategic sourcing, project management, ethical fitness, and auditing for corporate, social, and environmental responsibility spanning over three decades.

He is a presenter on the topic of Sustainable Meetings and was the subject of "The Greenest Meeting" and "Striving for Net-Zero Meetings" on the Meetings and Conventions magazine Green Standard blog, as well as being named a MeetingsNet 2015 "Changemaker" for his sustainable meetings work.

Greg has been a sought-after speaker and panelist on renewable energy, presenting at the American Wind Energy Association Windpower conference, the Nebraska Wind and Solar conference, the Renewable Energy Markets conference, universities, government offices, and professional organizations.

Greg is a member of the advisory board to the Institute for Sustainable Enterprise. He is the former Chair of Community Outreach for the New Jersey chapter of Meeting Professionals International. 

Greg holds a BSET from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
